Stay safe online this Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Cybercriminals are looking to scam as many people as possible—don't get caught out!

Cyber Security web header pink background There are lots of shopping deals online already in the run up to this Black Friday and Cyber Monday. If you spot what appears to be a great bargain, remember all you've learned from your cyber security training to make sure you don't get scammed.

Stay safe at work and at home by completing our cyber savvy checklist and refreshing your knowledge regularly.

Cyber Savvy Checklist

  • Complete your mandatory cyber security training each year on iLearn.
  • Check every email and instant message carefully before you open any links or attachments.
  • Create strong, unique passwords for all systems using three random words e.g. Pilot-Rope-Badge1!
  • Use RenSafeOnline's nine easy-to-use free tools for help with things like verifying a website and checking your passwords are secure.
  • Regularly visit the RenSafeOnline website for advice and up-to-date guidance.
