We've reduced the amount of shutdown time over Christmas. 

From Wednesday 18 December 2024 until Friday 3 January 2025, we will pause the processing of new recruitment activity, including: 

• New adverts 
• Interviews 
• Recruitment packs. 

We'll focus on the processing of new employee documentation so that payments to new staff are made before the Christmas break and early payruns.

Please do not confirm any start dates with candidates until you receive a formal start date request email from Employee Services. 

Vacancy Management Panel (VMP) deadline 

To advertise a post before Wednesday 18 December 2024, you must send all recruitment paperwork to VMP no later than midday on Friday 6 December 2024.

This will give VMP time to assess the request to recruit. 

Any posts going through VMP after this date will not be advertised until January 2025.
