Colleagues urged to check and update personal details
It's important that we hold the correct contact information for you, for your next of kin, and an emergency contact.
Providing accurate information helps protect you and your loved ones in the event of an emergency.
You must:
Check and update your emergency contact details.
First, log in to ERP Business World (website)
Go to: Your Employment > Personnel Information > My Details > Contact information.
This can also be found under the My Details section of the Employee or Line Manager workspaces.
We'd also like you to:
Update your equalities information.
These are things such as your gender, sexual orientation, religion, whether you consider yourself to have a disability, and so on.
Please also complete all fields under My Details > Equality data.
Updating your equality data informs any actions we may take for all colleagues which can help:
- improve progression to senior positions
- increase job satisfaction
- remove any barriers to certain roles
- identify any sections of the council with issues retaining employees
- check if flexible working is taken up equally across all types of staff groups.
We also use this confidential data for equality monitoring and reporting purposes. You will have the option to answer 'Prefer not to say' for each question. If any field is blank, this will be recorded as 'Prefer not to say'.
