Congratulations to clerical assistant, Karen Walker and housing officer, Ashley Wilson on winning the ice-skating tickets for Paisley's Christmas event.

Both colleagues were delighted with their win.

Ashley said: "I never win anything, so this was a lovely surprise', and Karen is looking forward to telling her kids, adding: "This is amazing, thank you so much. My boys will be so happy!"

This year's festive celebrations in Paisley Town Centre have brought the return of the spectacular under cover outdoor ice rink complete with themed Bavarian bar alongside our festive funfair. Running during selected dates and times until Thursday 28 December, it's the perfect family festive day out.

A big thanks to everyone who entered the competition and shared with us why our values matter to you.

Your answers really highlighted what our values mean to colleagues in different teams across the organisation as well as how you experience and put them into practice.

Here's a glimpse at what some of you told us:

"The values upheld by Renfrewshire Council matter to me deeply because they reflect the principles that guide not only how we interact with one another but also how we deliver meaningful services to our communities."

"I have been in Renfrewshire Council for nearly 20 years. I would never look outside the organisation as every position I have been in has treated everyone fairly and I have always been supported."

"I think that the current values are very clear and achievable.  They inspire trust in the community we serve, and a greater sense of being a team for the staff."
