Supporting your conversations about mental health and wellbeing.

Let's talk it through' For Time to Talk Day 2025 (Thursday 6 February), Scottish mental health charity See Me are encouraging you to "get comfortable and start talking about mental health." Their vision is for a fair and inclusive Scotland, free from mental health stigma and discrimination.

Supporting your mental health at work

There a range of supports on our employee wellbeing hub as well as modules on iLearn that can help you have those all-important conversations about mental health.

You can:

 

  • speak to a Mental Health First Aider
  • get free confidential employee counselling 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • learn about relaxation and mindfulness on iLearn
  • attend wellbeing RenTalks and learn more about managing stress, menopause and holistic health

E-learning for managers: Wellbeing conversations

Did you know we have a Wellbeing Conversations e-learning course to guide sensitive one-to-one conversations with members of your team? You can find it under 'Leading People' in the Leadership and Management section oniLearn alongside several other helpful courses on similar topics.

If you manage colleagues on frontline services, our People & Organisational Development team want to make sure you have all the information you need to help them access support at work. Organisational Development advisor, Fiona Sinclair is currently offering employee wellbeing toolbox talks for managers and has received great feedback about the sessions she's hosted so far.
