Managing discipline and grievance course for managers

Who this course is for

This course is for current managers, supervisors, and team leaders to learn how to carry out discipline and grievance processes appropriately.

What you will learn

On this participative on-line Workshop you will:

  • Examine the behaviours required as a manager when dealing with these issues
  • Practice your approach to discipline and grievance situations using various scenarios.

How the course is delivered

A blended approach to delivery, which includes a combination of:

  • a trainer-led online workshop
  • interactive e-learning 
  • group work activities.

The workshop is delivered online through MS Teams and takes two hours to complete.

Before you attend the workshop

The disciplinary procedures and grievance procedures are not covered in the Workshop, so you must complete both of the iLearn modules before you can attend the Workshop:

You must fully complete both iLearn modules before you submit a nomination form. You will not be added to the waiting list or invited to attend a workshop until you have completed these e-learning modules.

You will only be considered to have completed this course, once you have completed both the elearning and the online Workshop.

  • Thursday 27 March 2025, 2.00pm-4.00pm
  • Wednesday 30 April 2025, 2.00pm to 4.00pm
  • Wednesday 28 May 2025, 2.00pm-4.00pm
  • Tuesday 17 June 2025, 10.00am-12.00pm
