I want to say thank you to everyone who was involved in delivering the election across our two constituencies as I know firsthand how much time and effort it has taken to ensure it was carried out smoothly.

In addition to the extensive planning and work in advance of polling day, our election teams worked diligently to operate 62 polling places containing 135 stations across Renfrewshire - before carrying out the count process overnight too.

Thank you to everyone involved for your efforts.

Alan.
