On Tuesday 12 November 2019 between 22.30pm and 1.30am on Wednesday 13 November 2019 there may be service interruptions to our payment services due to system maintenance. This is also scheduled to happen again on Sunday 17 November 2019 between 4.30am and 6.30am. During this time we cannot accept debit or credit card payments due to this essential system maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Pay a parking fine

Remember,  if you pay within 14 days of issue, the penalty charge will be reduced by 50% to £30.

Don't send cash by post!
Please ensure you attach the completed Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) Payment Slip to the cheque/postal order. 
Make it payable to 'Renfrewshire Council' and write the PCN Number on the reverse of the cheque/postal order.
If paying by credit card, please ensure the card details are entered accurately on the payment slip. Note there is a 2% surcharge for credit card payments.

 

Appeal against a penalty charge notice

If you don't think you should have been given a penalty charge notice, you can appeal. The appeal should be in writing. Send your appeal to the Head of Roads and Transportation at the address at the bottom of the page.

Please try to include as much information to support your appeal as possible, including

  • the name and address of person making the appeal
  • the charge number (prefixed 'RP')
  • your vehicle registration number
  • the date and location of charge
  • the reasons for appeal that are to be considered and the circumstances surrounding them
