The Fostering Team is made up of skilled social workers who have years of experience working with children and foster carers.
We offer excellent guidance and support in any situation.
We are a small and friendly local authority
We stay in regular contact with our foster carers and make regular visits to make sure everything is going well.
As a foster carer for Renfrewshire Council, you'll:
- have your own Supervising Social Worker who will help guide you throughout your career as a social worker
- receive training every year
- advance your skills through our Therapeutic Care Programme
- be invited to monthly support groups
- have a private membership of the Fostering Network, and
- be invited to bring your own children along to our seasonal day trip with the 'We Care Too' Group.
