Paisley East and Whitehaugh Community Council interim election
An interim election is being held for Paisley East and Whitehaugh Community Council to help increase the number of full members above the minimum number required for the community council to operate.

Financial support from Renfrewshire Council
The council provides an annual administrative allowance to community councils to help with basic running costs. This is fixed at £600 a year with an additional 3p per head of population.
The Paisley East and Whitehaugh Community Council has a population of 8,163. Therefore, they get an additional £245 to the flat rate, giving them a total administrative allowance £845.
