When we cut grass, hedges and open spaces, grass cutting schedule for 2024 to 2025.

When we cut grass in public or open spaces

To keep our towns and villages looking fresh and tidy, our teams carry out maintenance for an area at the same time.

They work on a 14 day cycle between April and October and tackle a different area of Renfrewshire each day.

When they are in your area, they:

cut all open spaces, school playing fields, public parks, sports pitches and cemeteries.
cut the grass and hedges for residents and council house tenants who get garden assistance or have common maintenance areas where they live.

They return the next day for any areas they haven't completed the day before.

Hedges in open spaces are cut during Autumn and Winter.

Tuesday	Renfrew North including Blythswood, Kirklandneuk, Inchinnan, Bishopton, Langbank
Wednesday	Erskine
Thursday	Bridge of Weir; Kilbarchan; Brookfield; Lochwinnoch; Houston; Crosslee; Craigends
Friday	Howwood, Johnstone West including Corseford, Spateston, Milliken Park, Cartside, Quarellton
Saturday	Johnstone including Cochrane Castle, Johnstone Castle, Johnstone town centre, Johnstone East, Elderslie
Sunday	Linwood Ferguslie Park

Week 2
Monday	Paisley South including Foxbar
Tuesday	Paisley South including Brediland, Meikleriggs, Lounsdale, Glenburn, Nethercraigs
Wednesday	Paisley South including Glenburn (excluding Nethercraigs)
Thursday	Paisley Southeast including Castlehead, Hunterhill, Lochfield, Charleston
Friday	Paisley East including Todholm; Dykebar, Hawkhead, Seedhill, Williamsburgh, Whitehaugh, Ralston
Saturday	Paisley North including Gallowhill, Shortroods
Sunday	Paisley town centre and West End
