School meals
School meals for children at nursery, primary and secondary school, nutritional information, free school meals, ParentPay online payment system for school meals.
We provide high-quality school meals which:
- encourage our children and young people to eat healthily
- meet the Scottish Government guidance on food, drink and nutritional standards
- are packed with quality locally sourced, sustainable ingredients, including farm-assured meat products, free range eggs, certified UK Red Tractor chicken, and fruit, vegetables and milk from trusted local suppliers.
All meals are served with milk, soya milk or water, vegetables, salad and fruit.
We provide standard, gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and sesame-free lunch options.
We also have a detailed allergen list and carbohydrate and fat count list for our nursery, primary school and secondary school meals.
School meals are available to all children who are entitled to a free school meal and any child or young person who wants to buy their lunch at school.
The price of school meals are:
- Primary 1 to 5 - free
- Primary 6 to 7 - £2.35
- Additional Support Needs schools (ASN) - free
- Secondary school meals - £2.70.
All of our schools use ParentPay, an online payment system that you can use to pay for school meals instead of cash.
