Planning permission applications

Search or make a planning application, notices of review, support or object to an application, appeal planning application decision, registered and decided applications, notices of review.

The drop in duty planning officer service is currently unavailable and we will contact you by email or by phone. However, site visits and meetings of the Communities, Housing and Planning Policy Board are still going ahead.

You can submit your applications, plans and supporting information on the eDevelopment.scot portal. You can also add additional information to an existing application on the portal. We currently cannot accept paper applications, or paper submissions of additional information.

You can make payments for your application on the eDevelopment.scot portal or call us 0300 300 0300 to discuss other ways to pay.

You can comment on existing planning applications through our website or by email at dc@renfrewshire.gov.uk.

The Coronavirus (Scotland) Act, which came into force on 7 April 2020, sets out that planning permission that would otherwise lapse in the six months until 6 October 2020 will be extended by one year to allow work to start once the current restrictions are lifted.

We aim to respond to general enquiries within 14 days. If your query will take longer than 14 days, we will let you know when you'll get a response, and keep you updated on the progress of your application.
