We have a range of courses and training modules available to colleagues and managers which are delivered either in person, on MS Teams or via our recently updated e-learning platform - iLearn. Together with our mandatory courses, this includes:
Digital skills
There's lots going on to support your ability to keep up with the growing use of digital platforms at work, such as workshops on:
- Delivering effective presentations
- How we store, share and collaborate on files
- Presenting data to inform and create impact.
Training for managers
If you are going to be part of a recruiting panel, it's essential that you complete the training and associated iLearn modules. You can start by booking on to one of our upcoming Recruitment and Selection workshops between February and June 2024.
Updated iLearn functionality
iLearn now offers a more streamlined experience for you to access, complete and track your digital learning on a wide variety of mandatory and optional courses.
There are seven mandatory courses for all council colleagues together with refresher courses on Cyber security—how to spot a phish and Information Governance.
