How to apply for a Blue Badge
How to check if you can get a blue badge and apply online, how long it will take, how much it costs, other ways to apply.
You can apply for yourself or someone else can apply for you.
You can check your eligibility and apply online for a Blue Badge on the GOV.UK website.
Your application is sent to our Blue Badge team, who will check your application and proof. We will contact you if we need more information.
When we have all the information we need, we will process your application.
It can take up to 12 weeks if you need an assessment. We will contact you about the decision.
The fee for a Blue Badge is £20. We will contact you about paying the fee if you're approved for a Blue Badge.
You will then be able pay for your Blue Badge with our online payment form or by calling our Customer Services on 0300 300 0300 (option 5 then option 1).
