Planned Leave

Please ensure that all planned leave (annual leave, flexi leave, special leave) is up to date in Business World, and especially for the first 3 months of the calendar year - January, February and March 2020. This data is critical in ensuring the Council absence statistics are accurate for the next reporting period, which is due mid April.

Please note the following:

  • Services that went live in January 2020 (E&I, Children's Services, RHSCP), any carry forward of annual leave days from 2019 should be managed offline.
     
  •  Managers can input leave on behalf of their direct reports by utilising the 'manager on behalf of' functionality.
     
  • There is now a COVID-19 category available within Special Leave, for those staff that are self isolating and are unable to work from home. Please seek advice from HR if you have any questions on when this Special Leave category should be used.
