Nursery menus

Our pre-5 establishments benefit from freshly prepared and healthy 2-course lunch every day. The meals adhere to the regulations specified in the Setting the Table - Nutritional guidance and food standards for early years childcare providers in Scotland (2015)

The current menu, allergy matrix and carbohydrate counter can be downloaded from the related documents section.

Free lunch provision

From August 2020, parents will be able to take advantage of 1140 hours of nursery and childcare time across Scotland. As part of this programme, there will be a free lunch provision for all 3-4 years old and qualifying 2 years old children. For those who presently choose to purchase a meal for their child, the cost is currently £2.00 per day. To find out if you are eligible for a free meal, visit the free school meals and clothing grants page.

Allergy, intolerance and medically-prescribed diet

If your child has a food allergy; intolerance; or medically prescribed diet, please contact the Head of Establishment in the first instance so that any necessary arrangements can be put in place. We will work with parents and dieticians to ensure your child is provided with a menu that meets their requirements.
