Renfrewshire Council

Leader's Blog: Have you taken part in the 'Our Renfrewshire' community survey?

Do you live, work or study in Renfrewshire? If so, I am asking you to get involved and have your say to help shape how we work as a council.

As a council we deliver lots of important public services, from waste and recycling collections to looking after our local environment, to caring for the most vulnerable in our communities, to creating the right conditions for jobs and training opportunities. We look after our school buildings and homes and our local roads and provide education and children's services across the region. We want to transform the way we work as a council - how we communicate and work with communities and our partners and we need your views to help shape this.

In our day to day work and from our everyday conversations, we know that communities are keen to work more closely with us. So we've launched the 'Our Renfrewshire' community survey because we want to hear your views on how we can work together.

The survey, which includes a short set of simple questions, is designed to find out what matters to you, what you value and to start a conversation with you about what you expect from the council and how we can work better for you.

We will use the feedback you provide by taking part in the survey to help develop a new set of council values which will shape how we communicate and work with you in the future.

We want everyone in Renfrewshire to get involved in the survey and have their say. We need your help to understand what matters most to you, how we can make it easier to connect with the council and how we can strengthen our relationship with communities and partners.

If you live, work or study in Renfrewshire, we want to hear from you. The survey is quick and easy to fill out and your contribution will make a big difference. Make sure you have your say before the survey closes on Friday 7 June. This is your chance to help shape Renfrewshire's future.

To take part in the survey visit If you need help to go online, ask about 'Our Renfrewshire' in one of our libraries and our staff will help you.

You can also share your stories, photos and views on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #OurRenfrewshire.
