Renfrewshire Council

Calling all Renfrewshire communities... Local Partnership funding applications are open!

Applications for Local Partnership funding are now open!

Each Local Partnership has funding available to support projects which will help them achieve their local priorities, which were set at meetings in March and April.

There have been some important changes to the way the funding, which used to be known as Local Area Committee grants, works, with applications now judged on whether they can help a Local Partnership meet its local priorities.

If you want to apply, make sure you read the new guidance for Local Partnership funding before submitting your application. The guidance can be found on this page under Related Documents.

Want more information? Come along to one of our drop-in sessions and speak to a member of our Community Planning team who will be able to provide you with information on how the grants work and what the local priorities are for your Local Partnership as well as advice on alternative funding sources.

The drop-in sessions will take place at Johnstone Town Hall on Wednesday 24 April from 5.30pm-7.30pm, at the Abercorn Centre, West College Scotland in Paisley on Thursday 2 May from 2pm-4pm and at Renfrew Town Hall on Wednesday 8 May from 10am-12pm.

You can book a slot for the sessions here:

If you can't make the drop-in sessions, call our Community Planning Team on 0141 618 4168 or email

The Local Partnerships will make a decision on funding applications at their next meetings in June.
