Renfrewshire Council

Update on Renfrewshire waste collections

Due to the adverse weather conditions, there was disruption to the waste collections over the weekend in Renfrewshire.

When carrying out collections, the Council takes the safety of workers and residents as a priority which meant services were suspended due to the difficult conditions in residential areas.

Any bins which have been missed on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 January will now be collected on Tuesday 23 or Wednesday 24 January.

Residents should present their bin by the road side before 7am on the day of collection.

Outstanding collections from the high area of Bridge of Weir are scheduled for collection on either Monday 22 or Tuesday 23 January.

The planned recovery of the bins missed on rural routes will take place on Tuesday 23, Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 January.

Scheduled collections have resumed today and residents should present their bin as normal.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused in these difficult circumstances.
