What is a Business Improvement District (BID)?

A Business Improvement District (BID) is a business-led initiative within a geographically defined area, where businesses come together and agree to invest collectively in projects and services that they believe will improve their trading environment.

The Paisley Town Centre BID is operated by Paisley First.

Below is a table detailing the annual BID levy.

How to pay

You can pay your Business Improvement District (BID) levy using any of the following methods:

Debit or credit card payments can be made by calling our Revenues Business Team on 0300 300 0202 (lines open Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am to 3.55pm).

In person
Payment can be made by cash, cheque or debit / credit card direct to Renfrewshire Council Customer Service Unit (Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am to 3.55pm) or at any of our Customer Service Points.
