Corporate Procurement Unit

The Renfrewshire Council Corporate Procurement Unit comprises of a centrally based team within Renfrewshire House.

Procurement professionals are managed by the Strategic Procurement Manager. Details of the Procurement Operations Manager and the Procurement Strategic Commercial & Category Managers for each service are shown below. 

Head of Service

Laura McIntyre - Head of Policy and Commissioning
Laura leads the Corporate Procurement Unit, Policy and Commissioning. 

Bridget Lambert - Strategic Procurement Manager
Bridget leads the Corporate Procurement Team.

 

Development & Housing Services

Laura Gillan - Strategic Commercial & Category Manager

Laura leads and manages the procurement of works, goods and services for Development & Housing Services including delivery of the Scottish Housing and Quality Service (SHQS) Programmes and provides professional and commercial advice and strategic direction for procurement.

Adult Services, Children's Services and Leisure Services

Alexandra Donaldson - Strategic Commercial & Category Manager

Alexandra manages the procurement of all third party goods and services within the specialised category of Social Work and Education and Leisure Services. She provides professional procurement advice and high level strategic direction in the development and implementation of specific procurement strategies, in order to obtain maximum value for money and sustainable cost reductions.

Graeme Beattie - Strategic Commercial & Category Manager

Graeme leads and manages the procurement of works, goods and services for Community Resources and provides professional and commercial advice and strategic direction for procurement.

Finance and Resources & Chief Executive's, Chief Executive's and ICT Services

Suzanne Gibb - Procurement Operations Manager

Suzanne manages the CPU team (excluding the Strategic Commercial & Category Managers) responsible for the day to day operational function of CPU.  Suzanne is also responsible for the procurement of works, goods and services for Finance & Resource Services and Chief Executives Services. She provides professional procurement advice and high level strategic direction in the development and implementation of specific procurement strategies, to obtain maximum value for money and sustainable cost reductions. 

Suzanne leads the procurement of all goods and services within the specialised category of ICT Services.

As part of the ICT commissioning board, she provides professional procurement advice and high level strategic direction in the development and implementation of specific procurement strategies, in order to obtain maximum value for money and sustainable cost reductions, while ensuring that ICT requirements are sourced utilising sound contractual and commercial arrangements which recognise and are in line with EU procurement directives.
