Corporate Procurement Unit
The Renfrewshire Council Corporate Procurement Unit comprises of a centrally based team within Renfrewshire House.
Procurement professionals are managed by the Strategic Procurement Manager. The Corporate Procurement Team has adopted a Category Management Approach, providing specialist knowledge, expertise and support to Council services across social care, construction, environment and infrastructure and finance and resources.

Head of Service
Christine McCourt - Head of Finance and Procurement
Christine leads the Corporate Procurement Unit.
Rebecca Park - Acting Strategic Procurement Manager (Interim)
Rebecca is the Acting Strategic Procurement Manager, responsible for the leadership and management of the Council's Corporate Procurement Team, ensuring the Council uses sound contractual and commercial arrangements and maximises the value procurement can play in supporting the Council's financial, community, economic, social and environmental objectives.
Development & Housing Services
Laura Gillan - Strategic Commercial & Category Manager
Laura leads and manages the procurement of works, goods and services for Development & Housing Services including delivery of the Scottish Housing and Quality Service (SHQS) Programmes and provides professional and commercial advice and strategic direction for procurement.
Adult Services, Children's Services and Leisure Services
Alexandra Donaldson - Strategic Commercial & Category Manager
Alexandra manages the procurement of all third party goods and services within the specialised category of Social Work and Education and Leisure Services. She provides professional procurement advice and high level strategic direction in the development and implementation of specific procurement strategies, in order to obtain maximum value for money and sustainable cost reductions.
Graeme Beattie - Strategic Commercial & Category Manager
Graeme leads and manages the procurement of works, goods and services for Environment & Infrastructure, providing professional and commercial advice and strategic direction for the procurement of a broad range of goods, works and services. Graeme is also the Council's nominated representative for PPE and is providing strategic support to frontline services, ensuring that the supply of PPE is maintained throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Finance and Resources & Chief Executive's, Chief Executive's and ICT Services
Suzanne Gibb - Strategic Commercial Category Manager
Suzanne is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for Finance & Resources and the Chief Executives Service. She provides professional procurement advice and high level strategic direction in the development and implementation of specific procurement strategies, to obtain maximum value for money and sustainable cost reductions.
Suzanne also leads the procurement of all goods and services within the specialised category of ICT Services, supported by a dedicated ICT Commissioner, Senior Procurement Specialist, Rachel O'Neill.
