Housing Repairs Policy

The Council has developed a Housing Repairs Policy which outlines the service provided for repairs to council houses to ensure that our properties are maintained to a safe and suitable standard.

The policy explains:

  • the repairs that we, the Council, are responsible for;
  • your responsibilities as a tenant;
  • the different categories of repairs and their response times; and
  • how to report repairs.
