Renfrewshire Outdoor Access Strategy

Renfrewshire's Outdoor Access Strategy provides a framework for an integrated network of routes for walking, cycling, horse riding and water based activities which can be reached by all.

The strategy takes account of routes to schools, jobs, communities and recreational opportunities. It has been prepared in consultation with key stakeholder agencies, community representatives, user groups and land managers from across Renfrewshire.

In 2015/2016 a review and a refresh of the Access Strategy was undertaken. A Draft Access Strategy was prepared and was subject to a period of eight weeks consultation. 58 responses were received. A summary of these responses and how the comments were taken into account can be viewed under the related document section on this page.
