Renfrewshire Council

Gallowhill housing consultation

We're delivering new Council housing in Gallowhill.

These homes will add to the local council housing supply, meeting the need for affordable homes and enhancing the local area.

New Council houses

McTaggart Construction have been awarded the contract to design and build 65 homes at a vacant site off Montgomery Road.

The development will provide a mix of property types and sizes including cottage flats with direct access and garden areas, bungalows and houses.

Many will be wheelchair-accessible and include 5-bedroom Council homes for the first time.

They'll also meet the highest standards in energy efficiency, coming complete with air source heat pumps and solar panels.

The development will also see the play park being relocated and upgraded nearby.
